SilkAir will operate flights on the Singapore – Cairns route from June 2015.
SilkAir is to fly three times a week between Singapore and Cairns from mid next year and will operate a 162 seat Boeing 737-800 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays with some flights via Darwin.
The Singapore service will provide an enormous boost to the region’s tourism industry, with connectivity between Singapore and Cairns making it even easier for international visitors to reach our holiday destination and for locals to travel overseas.
We look forward to the official launch of the service in June next year and the opportunity to host senior SilkAir representatives here in Tropical North Queensland and showcase our destination to them.
