Next Thursday September 19th there will be a Community Drop-In session at Cairns Aviation Skills Centre, at Cairns General Aviation, off the Captain Cook Highway.
This will be an opportunity for members of the public to register their interest and get further information about the recent testing done in the Barron River by Airservices Australia.
Cairns Airport shares community concerns about the potential health hazards and will facilitate the drop in session to allow representatives from Airservices Australia, Department of Environment and Science, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and Queensland Public Health Unit to address any community concerns and questions. All members of the community that have an interest are encouraged to attend.
Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome to attend.
