Cairns Airport has officially launched its new user friendly website that gives people easy access to airport information.
Cairns Airport Chief Executive Officer, Norris Carter, said the website was redeveloped to be more informative and intuitive.
“The most popular pages on our site by far are the flight information updates and online car park booking,” Mr Carter said.
“There are now links to both these sections front and centre on the home page to ensure they are easily accessible. We’ve added a search function specifically to help people find the flight they are looking for and a more user friendly system for booking Cairns Airport Parking.”
“There’s plenty of relevant information for travellers. We’re proud that our new website is an excellent platform for us to showcase Tropical North Queensland as a holiday destination to thousands of potential visitors through a display of striking images and information highlighting the natural attractions and tourism offer across our region.”
Cairns Airport’s website is also a useful source of information for people undertaking work at the airport.
“There are a range of regulations and requirements that apply when working in the aviation environment, where security and safety are paramount,” Mr Carter said. “The Cairns Airport website is a useful starting point for companies planning to work here.”
